Leeds United player ratings after Dallas rescues point v Preston

It was a game of two halves as Leeds United battled back to claim a point against Preston North End in a 1-1 draw on Boxing Day.

It was an extremely poor first half performance from the Whites, with some calling it the worst under Marcelo Bielsa's reign as manager, as the atmosphere at Elland Road grew tetchy and ill-tempered.

Preston's pressing game worked effectively and they deservedly went into the break a goal up after Alan Browne put the finishing touch on a three-on-one counter attack.

Leeds came out much improved in the second half and cranked up the pressure with a number of near-misses. Eventually that pressure told with Stuart Dallas striking home an equaliser in the 88th minute.

Liam Cooper gave his thoughts on Leeds United's performance after they battled back to claim a point against Preston North End.

It was the second time the two sides have played out a 1-1 draw this season, and the second time Marcelo Bielsa's Whites scored late on.

Eddie Nketiah's header levelled things at Deepdale back in November and on this occasion it was Stuart Dallas's long-range effort in a game of two halves at Elland Road.
