Leeds United latest: Jansson's Whites love, Bilic promotion claim, Reading insider

Pontus Jansson has recounted the best memories of his career and the majority include Leeds United, Slaven Bilic has made a major promotion claim involving the Whites, while we have spoken to our Reading insider for a view on tomorrow's game.

Here is a look at the latest Leeds United headlines...

Blackburn, Bielsa, Berardi - Leeds dominates Jansson's highlights

Pontus Jansson has given a new interview in which he talks about the highlights of his career and he couldn’t help but talk about Leeds United time and again.

The Sweden international moved to Brentford in the summer, but it was his former club that got the most mentions.

Speaking with The Sun, he was asked about the best managers he’s worked with, his favourite team-mates and his best goal among other careers highlights.

“I would say my goal against Blackburn [Rovers] with Leeds,” he answered when asked about his favourite goal.

Slaven Bilic makes bold Leeds United promotion claim

Slaven Bilic has insisted Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion are under more pressure than their rivals to secure promotion to the Premier League this season.

The Baggies sit top of the Championship table on 63 points, four clear of the Whites in second.

United opened up a three-point lead on Fulham in third last weekend after beating Bristol City, with Brentford and Nottingham Forest a further point behind and also in the hunt for a top-two finish.

With West Brom in action against another top-six rival, Bristol City, this weekend, Bilic has insisted the pressure to secure promotion is heavier on his side and Leeds, compared to the chasing pack.

'They're not falling apart' - Reading insider's take on Leeds trip

Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United made it four wins out of four against Bristol City last weekend, and they can also make it back-to-back league doubles against Reading when they visit Elland Road on Saturday.

A late goal from Jack Harrison, finishing off an expertly-crafted counter-attack, gave the Whites a 1-0 win in the reverse fixture at Madejski Stadium back in November.

Reading are currently 15th in the table, but like Leeds, ended a poor run of form with a good win last weekend. They beat Garry Monk's Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 and will travel to West Yorkshire with renewed confidence.

We spoke to Jonathan Low, Reading FC reporter for our sister title BerkshireLive, to get the inside scoop on how Saturday's opponents are shaping up and how they're viewing a test against Bielsa's promotion chasers.
