Leeds United latest: FA season blow, Orta transfer advice, Viduka digs out old boss

The Football Association released its latest statement on the 2019/20 season yesterday, while Victor Orta has been given some transfer advice for the next window and Mark Viduka has been typically outspoken about one of his former Leeds United bosses.

Leeds issued stark warning by FA chief on Championship season

FA Chairman Greg Clarke has called for football stakeholders to help save the game - admitting that the season could not be completed.

The Premier League and EFL campaigns are both suspended indefinitely, with plans to resume the campaign in the summer months among the many scenarios being discussed once the coronavirus crisis eases.

Both governing bodies have reiterated their commitment to ensuring the 2019/20 campaign is complete, much to the delight of Leeds United fans with their side sat top of the Championship.

However, while confirming that fully completing the season with promotion, relegation and title winners is the plan, Clarke stated that human life was the priority and admitted the season may not be completed.

However, it's Ryan Fraser who should be at the top of Victor Orta's transfer list, according to Danny Mills.

'He made me a scapegoat' - Viduka opens up on former LUFC boss

Mark Viduka has opened up on his troublesome relationship with former Leeds boss Peter Reid.

Reid was Elland Road chief for just eight months in 2003.

He managed to keep them up in the 2002-03 season but the following campaign saw him axed in November.

Viduka hit 11 goals that term, but it wasn't enough to prevent the club's relegation.
