Leeds United latest: Bielsa dressing room message, Harris on Whites, Kinnear on transfers

Marcelo Bielsa has revealed what he said to Leeds United's players in the dressing room after Saturday's collapse, Neil Harris has talked about a biased referee and how he exploited home fans' nerves while Angus Kinnear has laid out next month's transfer plans.

Here's a round-up of the headlines you need to know about.

What Marcelo Bielsa said to United's players in the dressing room

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa admitted he felt it was 'not possible' for his side to be held to a 3-3 draw by Cardiff City at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites looked on course to record an eighth successive Championship win when goals from Patrick Bamford (two) and Helder Costa had fired them into a 3-0 lead after just 52 minutes.

An astonishing Cardiff fightback saw the Bluebirds score three times inside the final half-hour to secure the most unlikely of draws.

Just like almost everyone else inside Elland Road, Whites boss Bielsa was left to try and make sense as to what had just happened.

Neil Harris on exploiting Leeds United fans and a biased referee

Neil Harris knew his Cardiff City team could prey on nerves among Leeds United supporters at 3-2 to seal their unlikelycomeback at Elland Road.

The Bluebirds boss also pointed the finger at referee Tony Harrington for swaying the match in the favour of Marcelo Bielsa’s side during a game the Whites led from the sixth minute until the 88th.

Harris, who has regularly been outspoken on the Whites over the years, also hinted Patrick Bamford may have bought his second-half penalty.

Leeds United's transfer window mapped out by Angus Kinnear

The January transfer window is less than three weeks away as clubs across the Championship will get the opportunity to add to their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

Leeds United will likely begin the New Year in the automatic promotion places after a strong first half of the season which has seen them and West Brom pull away at the top of the table.

The Whites hierarchy preached the value of consistency in the summer after seeing Marcelo Bielsa commit to a second season at Elland Road and Angus Kinnear says the club's strategy for the January window will again be about maintaining the unity that the squad currently has.
