Leeds United insider lifts the lid on Adam Forshaw's wonderful daily training ground ritual

Marcelo Bielsa’s former translator Salim Lamrani has shared his latest Leeds United player tribute, with Adam Forshaw the latest to receive a social media post.

The French academic first worked with Bielsa at Marseille and was by the Whites boss's side throughout last season. Since leaving the club in the summer, he’s posted a series of tribute posts on Twitter.

The “memories from Leeds United” series has already praised Pablo Hernandez, , Gaetano Berardi, and Stuart Dallas, giving each of them a unique nickname.

Hernandez was dubbed 'The Brain', Ayling 'The Fighter', Cooper 'The Example', Berardi 'The Lion' and Forshaw has the title of 'The Unbeatable'.

“Adam was the first player to suffer a serious injury during our first pre-season during which he had excelled both physically and technically,” Lamrani wrote in the Twitter post.

“Confronted with this injustice, far from collapsing, he showed an extraordinary resilience and redoubled his efforts to recover his best level, showing a strength of character worthy of great players.

“He is unbeatable because he always refuses to give up when faced with adversity. In the difficult moments, he constantly tries to learn the necessary lessons, to find the positive side of things in order to lift his teammates’ spirits and to forge ahead.”

Forshaw, who was in and out of the team last season after recovering from injury, has returned to Bielsa’s favoured starting XI, starting both league matches so far and confirmed to start the third against Wigan.
