Football finance expert Kieran Maguire has claimed Leeds United are "in a great position" financially to improve their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Whites looked all-but-certain to remain in the Premier League this season after a fantastic debut campaign.
Andrea Radrizzani backed Marcelo Bielsa in the summer transfer window, signing the likes of Raphinha, Rodrigo Moreno and Diego Llorente as marquee additions to bolster Leeds' squad.
At times, Leeds have struggled when that trio, plus Kalvin Phillips, have been unavailable, highlighting the need for greater quality in depth throughout the squad, which is filled with players that featured in the Championship.
Whilst other major leagues across Europe are struggling financially, the Premier League continues to drive strong revenues and Maguire believes that places Leeds in a great spot for their summer recruitment drive.
“There is money to spend," Maguire told the Talking Shutt podcast.
“[This summer] will be quiet by Premier League standards but I still think the Premier League will be the most active in Europe.
“It still has that TV deal and it still has owners who don’t really care about the bottom line.
“There are bargains to be had. If you’ve got some money there’s never been a better time to be in the market.
“French football has collapsed, it’s in crisis. You can buy players at liquidation prices. £20m players will be picked up for £9m, you can get three for the price of two.
“The Spain market is terrible, no one has money to buy so they have to sell to buy. Leeds… are in a really good position.”
