'Bagsman' Leeds United players hail Charlie Cresswell's impressive Millwall debut

A host of Leeds United players past and present have heaped praise upon Charlie Cresswell after the defender produced a stunning debut for Millwall in their Championship season opener.

Cresswell is on loan at Millwall from Leeds and managed to bag himself an opening day brace with two headers in their 2-0 win over Stoke City.

It was an excellent start to his loan spell at the Den for the 19-year-old, who was playing alongside another Leeds loanee in Jamie Shackleton.

And plenty of Leeds players both past and present jumped on to social media to praise Cresswell following his impressive debut.

Leeds United announce departure of goalkeeper Kiko Casilla by mutual consent

Leeds United have announced the departure of goalkeeper Kiko Casilla by mutual consent. The announcement ends Casilla's three-and-a-half year spell at Elland Road.

The former Real Madrid stopper signed in January 2019 on a four-and-a-half year deal. Casilla played 61 times for Leeds, keeping 23 clean sheets.

The 35-year-old was found guilty in February 2020 of racially abusing Jonathan Leko during a game between Leeds and Charlton Athletic in September of the previous year.

Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere set to fly to Italy to complete AC Milan move

Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere is set to fly to Italy to complete his move to AC Milan, according to reports.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that the striker will sign for the Serie A champions on Monday, despite strong interest from Jesse Marsch's side.

The Whites have reportedly had an offer on the table for the Club Brugge striker for some time, but De Ketelaere only ever wanted to join AC Milan.

Romano said on Twitter: "Charles De Ketelaere will fly to Milano tomorrow in order to complete move to AC Milan on Monday."
