Leeds United have 'signed agreement' with Barcelona starlet, Aston Villa's £25m deal in place as Newcastle United man set for Stoke City - reports

Leeds eye starlet

Leeds United have joined the hunt for Bolton Wanderers talent Luca Connell after his impressive performances for the side despite their relegation to League One, the Sun on Sunday reports.

Capable of playing at left-back or in central midfield, the 18-year-old has reportedly been eyed by a number of Premier League sides but Leeds’ interest could throw a spanner in the works.

And according to reports in Spain, Leeds are extremely close to sealing a move for Barcelona’s Rafa Mujica. The striker plays for their B side and Spanish journalist Angel Garcia Alvarez says the 20-year-old has already "signed his agreement" with the Elland Road side.

Villa on Tammy interest

Aston Villa will make Tammy Abraham's loan move a permanent one this summer - if they get promoted.

The West Midlands side hold a 2-1 lead over West Brom after the first leg of their Championship semi-final.

According to The Telegraph, they will bid £25million for the former Swansea striker if they go up.

Full-back to leave Potters

Stoke City are poised to lose the services of full-back Moritz Bauer this summer and the likes of Real Betis, Lille, Zenit St Petersburg and Cagliari are keen on his signature, Stoke on Trent Live reports.

The 27-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Potters last summer but an overhaul planned by Nathan Jones could see him leave on loan next term.

Toon striker set for exit?

As part of that, Football Insider states Stoke will offer a lucrative deal will be offered to Newcastle United’s Matt Ritchie as they aim to lure the 29-year-old to the Championship.

The Magpies have reportedly told the Scotland international he will not see his current deal, which expires in 2021, extended and that could leave him eyeing a move.

Preston keen on defender

Preston North End are keen on signing Oldham Athletic defender George Edmundson, the Sun’s Alan Nixon has stated on Twitter, as the Lancashire side aim to build on what has been an impressive campaign.

The 21-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with the Latics and they may have to accept a sale this summer in order to receive a fee for his services.

Robins to swoop for striker

According to the same source, Bristol City are looking to bolster their attacking ranks by securing a deal for Barnsley striker Kieffer Moore as Lee Johnson looks to improve a side that narrowly missed out on a playoff spot.

Moore struck 17 goals for the Tykes in League One this season, firing Barnsley back into the Championship as runners-up to champions Luton Town.
