Leeds United handed two injury blows during West Brom first half

Leeds United's awful injury luck under Marcelo Bielsa contiued during on Tuesday evening, as two more players headed to the treatment table.

Bielsa's side went into the Elland Road clash missing Pablo Hernandez and Adam Forshaw with muscle and hip problems respectively and more bad news was to follow.

Skipper Liam Cooper appeared to pull his groin after half-an-hour and after playing on for a couple of minutes in clear discomfort he went down in 34 minutes to be replaced by Gaetano Berardi.

Bielsa was then forced into another change at the half-time interval, as Jamie Shackleton, who impressed during the opening half as the hosts went in 1-0 up, was replaced by Tyler Roberts, who has only just returned from injury himself. Sky Sports cited a hamstring problem for the young midfiedler.

Whites head coach Bielsa will give an update in his post-match press conference. Leeds travel to Millwall on Saturday in their final match before the October international break.
