The Premier League held its latest shareholders meeting on Wednesday as plans continue to be made ahead of the season resuming on June 17.
Shortly after the meeting finished, the Premier League announced that clubs will be able to make five substitutions a game for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
According to a report in The Telegraph, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Bournemouth and West Ham all voted against the increase to substitutions when the season resumes.
However, the vote was still passed on a 16-4 score, with the rest of the Premier League all agreeing to the change.
The Telegraph is also reporting that Premier League clubs have agreed in principle to use neutral venues for some of the remaining 92 matches of this season.
The issue has been widely debated over the past week, with clubs believed to be against it, and it now appears that matches will be selected for neutral venues and decided on a case-by-case basis.
The fixtures set to be moved to neutral venues are Manchester City vs Liverpool, Manchester City vs Newcastle, Manchester United vs Sheffield United, Newcastle vs Liverpool, Everton vs Liverpool.
While Sportsmail are reporting that clubs have once again failed to agree on what to do in the event of the season being called off.
It is an issue that has been rumbling on for some time now, with the bottom six believed to be hoping to have relegation scrapped if the season is curtailed at any point.
However, the report claims that sides have agreed the matter should now be moved off the table, unless a second shutdown prompts them to revisit it.
That report will be welcomed by all at Leeds United, with Marcelo Bielsa's side looking to end their 16-year absence from the top flight. The Championship has provisionally stated June 20 as their date to return.
