Hegazi, who also scored against Hull, was shown a second yellow card and dismissed during the win, meaning he will not be available for the midweek clash with Derby County.
Given that the Rams are also chasing a play-off spot, that fixture is already a testing match-up but the fact they will be without the Egyptian makes things even more challenging.
Leeds could have the opportunity to open a four-point advantage at the top of the table on Thursday and will know if they have that chance following West Brom's clash on Derby.
