Leeds United give Norman Hunter emotional final Elland Road send off

Norman Hunter has been given a final Leeds United send off after his coffin was carried though Elland Road on Saturday.

The Whites legend passed away on April 17 after a battle against Covid-19, with his death bringing an outpouring of grief from both anyone associated with Leeds United and the footballing world as a whole.

Hunter was a key part of the club's golden age under Don Revie in the 1960s and 1970s, making more than 700 appearances in a Leeds shirt.

Last month the club announced that the South Stand at Elland Road has been renamed in his honour and have now been given one last farewell by the club.

During his time as a player Hunter won two Division One titles, two Inter-Cities' Fairs Cups, an FA Cup and a League Cup during his 726 appearances.
