Manchester United supporting comedian's cruel jibe about Leeds United on TV show

Leeds United fan comic Jon Richardson has teamed up with club legend Chris Kamara for a comedy show dedicated to the Whites.

Kammy was a guest star in the latest episode of Dave mockumentary Meet The Richardsons. The series follows Richardon and his wife, fellow stand up Lucy Beaumont, in their lives with the programme being set at their Hebden Bridge home.

Former Whites player Kammy joined in the fun during this week’s edition. He invited Richardson and Manchester United supporting comic Justin Moorhouse to be star guests in a charity fundraiser.

The comedians’ involvement saw them working on a fitness video called Kammy’s Keep Fit and also doing stand up routines at a gala bash featuring Leeds United legends.

Welcoming the comedians to the cause, Kammy, now a Sky Sports pundit, said: “Thank you so much for doing this, you are unbelievable.”

This raised giggles from the pair hearing Kammy’s ‘unbelievable’ catchphrase. During Kammy’s Keep Fit, Richardson wore a Leeds United shirt with the action being set to Fat Les song Vindaloo.

The stand up star is one of many famous faces who support Leeds United. Others include Russell Crowe, the Kaiser Chiefs, Mel B and Chris Moyles.

Kammy describes them as ‘two unfit comedians’ during the fitness video. At the end of the workout Richardson asks his former Whites idol to sign a mug for him with Moorhouse not missing the opportunity for mischief.

The Manchester United fan said: “Must be unusual for you. Seeing a Leeds player with a cup in his hand.”

As you can imagine, the comedy gala doesn’t quite go to plan but we won’t spoil that for you.

If you’d like to watch Kammy team up with Jon Richardson then Meet The Richardsons is on Dave's on-demand service.

We'll continue to bring you any light-hearted Whites news while we wait for the safe return of football with all matches currently being postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
