It has been a fine start to the 2019/20 campaign for Leeds United, although the defeat to Swansea City has left Marcelo Bielsa's side licking their wounds during the international break.
That result has highlighted the fact there is a long way to go this season and United need to keep their wits about them, or run the risk of suffering a decline like last term.
Still, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Bielsa and his side, which has seen many confidently exclaim the Whites will finally seal a return to the Premier League.
Now, former Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis has thrown his weight behind a Leeds United promotion-winning campaign, as he backed Bielsa's side to clinch a return to the top-flight.
Asked about his predictions for the 2019/20 season in the Premier League and Championship by the Telegraph, Pulis said:
"I still can't look beyond Man City, I just think Liverpool will fall short again. Leeds will also do it this year."
Leeds fans will be hoping that Pulis's assessment is accurate and, on evidence so far this season, it certainly seems the Welsh boss has good reason to be optimistic about Leeds.
