Leeds United fans spotted Mateusz Klich's moment of genius during Aston Villa win

Leeds United will still be on cloud nine following a resounding victory in the Premier League against Aston Villa on Friday night, which has left them fifth in the standings.

The Whites have excelled since their return to the top flight, with Marcelo Bielsa's style of play earning plaudits and many sides being blown away by the team's output.

Villa certainly discovered that on the eve of the weekend, as Patrick Bamford's hat-trick inspired a resounding victory that has boosted confidence.

Fans analysing the game in the aftermath, however, have spotted something else of note involving Mateusz Klich as another example of the lengths Bielsa and his team will go to in order to gain marginal advantages.

"I've just noticed a classic Klich manoeuvre in the second half. Free kick to us. Klich rolls it too far forward in placing the ball," he posted on Twitter.

"Trezeguet walks forward and kicks the ball back to him - now out of position. Klich takes v fast free-kick back past him and Harrison is on his way."

While it may have been oblivious at first glance, it shows the sort of tactical prowess that Bielsa imprints onto his team in order to get the best possible benefit.

Using this approach to get Trezeguet out of position, Jack Harrison found space and it gives Leeds another way to exploit their opponents.

It will now be interesting to see whether a similar tactic can be spotted in Leeds' upcoming matches, starting on Monday evening.
