Leeds United fans send message to Eddie Nketiah as striker is again on target for England U21s

Eddie Nketiah kept up his prolific England Under-21 scoring record when he netted the opener for Aidy Boothroyd's side in a 2-2 draw in Slovenia.

The Leeds United loan star scored his third in three matches for the Young Lions since his deadline day move to Elland Road in August when he stroked a penalty into the right-hand corner after 39 minutes of the friendly clash.

That came after Nketiah had won the penalty himself, when he was brought down inside the box after being played in by Manchester City's Phil Foden.

Nketiah was replaced by Surridge at half-time, with Boothroyd no doubt having one eye in Tuesday night's European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Austria in Milton Keynes.

"Good test vs Slovenia tonight, nice to get another goal for @England," tweeted Nketiah following the match.

Plenty of Leeds United fans responded to offer their support as Marcelo Bielsa was handed another example of the Arsenal youngster's talents...
