Illan Meslier put in an exceptional goalkeeping performance for Leeds United’s Under-23s as they came away from Selhurst Park with a point against Crystal Palace.
The Frenchman, who arrived on loan from Lorient this summer to replace Bailey Peacock-Farrell as Kiko Casilla’s back-up, put in his best display yet for Carlos Corberan’s youth side.
He received LeedsLive’s highest player rating on the day, having saved a penalty and a number of other fine stops to keep the Eagles at bay.
One late save in particular, at full stretch, really impressed United fans on social media. There was quite a buzz about the 19-year-old’s performance on Twitter.
