Leeds United fans react to 'quality' Diego Llorente's return versus Southampton

Leeds United fans have been reacting to Marcelo Bielsa's chosen line-up to face Southampton at Elland Road this evening - and are pleased to see Diego Llorente back in the fold.

The Whites are aiming to get back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and then Wolverhampton Wanderers over their last outings.

If Bielsa's team can pick up the three points, then they will move back into the top half of the Premier League table, but face a Saints side with top-10 ambitions themselves.

Ralph Hasenhuttl guided his men to a 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday - which was the south coast-based side's first point since early-January.

Marcelo Bielsa on his future at Leeds United

Bielsa has made just the one change for this evening's clash, with Diego Llorente coming in for Jamie Shackleton.

The Spaniard comes in for just his third Premier League appearance since moving to the Yorkshire-based club over the summer.

Llorente picked up an injury in last month's 2-1 win over Newcastle United and has not played since.

It will be a great chance for Leeds fans to see their summer signing in action for just the third time this evening and will be desperate for the 24-year-old to now put a run of games together.

Their reaction on social media suggests that Llorente's presence against the Saints is making them much more confident for the game.

Here is the full line-up Bielsa has gone with for the visit of Southampton: Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Pascal Struijk, Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente, Stuart Dallas, Mateusz Klich, Jack Harrison, Tyler Roberts, Raphinha, Patrick Bamford.

This is the first time Leeds and Southampton have met in competitive fashion since 2012, where the two sides went head-to-head in the League Cup - with the Whites cruising to a 3-0 lead at Elland Road.
