Leeds United fans put the pressure on one player to perform after Newcastle United team news

Leeds United fans have put the pressure on Jack Harrison to perform after Marcelo Bielsa named an unchanged side to face Newcastle United.

The Whites go into the game after back-to-back defeats to Chelsea and West Ham - yet Bielsa has opted to make no changes to the side that lost to the Hammers.

Bielsa has in fact opted to change just one player from his Whites squad, with Leif Davis replacing Helder Costa on the bench.

With Harrison having struggled for form recently, fans are keen to see both him and Ezgjan Alioski to perform against the Magpies.

Speaking on Amazon pre-match, pundit Tim Sherwood argued that the Whites may have needed to make changes due to fatigue during what is a hectic Premier League season.

The former Spurs boss hailed Marcelo Bielsa's impact on the Premier League but questioned whether his players are suffering from playing his intense style of football.

He said: "When I was watching the West Ham game, towards the end, dare I say it: they got a little bit tired towards the end of the game and they’re the fittest team in the league.

"They have such a tempo all of the time, I’m unsure whether they’ve burned a gasket here.

"He likes to have them on the front foot, he likes them to run harder than any other team, he expects that. Bielsa has been a breath of fresh air since he’s come to the Premier League.

"From the moment they came into the Premier League, they played at the home of the champions, Liverpool, and took them on toe-to-toe."
