Leeds United fans point to worrying Championship development despite retaining second spot

Leeds United fans have been reacting to the results elsewhere in the Championship and have pointed to a worry about the developments tonight.

The Whites drew 1-1 at Brentford last night thanks to Liam Cooper's equaliser but the solitary point meant the club's spot in the automatic promotion places was under threat.

But Leeds are still second this evening thanks to Fulham's 1-1 draw at Millwall, which means Marcelo Bielsa's men are ahead of the Londoners on goals difference.

West Bromwich Albion have pulled away somewhat at the top after their 2-1 win at Reading which has seen the Baggies move six points clear.

Whilst Leeds still remain second, there are now only three points separating United and seventh-placed Bristol City, who are only outside the play-offs on goal difference following their 3-2 win over Derby County.

This is something which has been pointed out by worried fans after a dramatic night in the Championship.

Leeds face Bristol City next up in the Championship on Saturday February 15 at Elland Road (3pm kick-off).

Third-placed Fulham take on Barnsley, while leaders West Brom host Nottingham Forest, who are fifth.

Preston North End, who currently sit in sixth, meet Millwall at the weekend.
