Leeds United fans notice what club have done amid Raphinha and Liverpool speculation

Leeds United appear as tired as their supporters with the incessant speculation linking Raphinha with a move to Liverpool this summer.

And one eagle-eyed United fan on social media noticed a subtle post on the club's YouTube channel in riposte to the rumours.

Reports have suggested the Brazilian winger is a key target for Jurgen Klopp this summer a year on from his arrival at Elland Road in a £17m deal from Rennes.

This, of course, created a social media buzz, with Reds fans demanding the signature of one of Leeds' best performers last season and United fans mocking their counterparts for thinking he would be sold to them.

The club's official YouTube account uploaded a video of the 24-year-old's dazzling skills and tricks in what was perceived by one fan as a retaliation to the rumours.

"Twitter is alight with Raphinha to #LFC rumours, so what does my club do? Uploads a video showing just how good he is," Whites supporter Victoria Firth said on Twitter.

Leeds are relaxed over the speculation regarding their prized asset, are under no financial pressure to sell and will fight to keep the Brazilian this summer if any interest is followed up.

Raphinha enjoyed a breakout season in the Premier League last campaign, scoring six goals and registering a further nine assists in 30 outings. But it was more his trickery on the ball and unrivalled ability to beat an opposition full-back that truly made him a fan favourite at Elland Road.

The winger recently spoke of his admiration for Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa in an interview with Sky Sports.

"It's really important to have a manager who allows you to do what you know, what you've already demonstrated you can do in the past," he said.

"I believe that when a team signs you, you've been brought in to do what you were doing at your previous club.

"Having a manager and team-mates that give you the freedom do your best, play your own game and show what you're capable of is really important for the natural development of the player."
