Leeds United fans notice glaring error from officials at Sheffield Wednesday

Leeds United endured a tough afternoon at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday but came away with a valuable point but there was plenty of frustration to be had.

The Whites dropped another two points as they aim to keep up with the likes of West Brom in their hopes of landing promotion back to the Premier League.

The debate over Marcelo Bielsa's striking selection rages on after he started Patrick Bamford and then subbed the forward at half-time, before Eddie Nketiah played the entire second half.

Despite the debate leaning towards Nketiah of late after his strong performances off the bench, Leeds arguably looked more in control when Bamford was on the field.

Leeds fans were not only frustrated because of the result but some eager-eyed viewers spotted a bizarre offside decision in the second half.

Nketiah had spun away from the defence before he put Helder Costa through with a neat pass, only for the assistant to raise his flag. It's safe to say it was a poor decision as the reaction below highlights.

With Ben White also having a decent penalty shout in the first ten minutes when he as brought down in the box by Atdhe Nuhiu, it's fair to say Leeds fans don't feel they had the rub of the green today as they missed out on an opportunity to briefly move ahead of West Brom ahead of the 3pm kick-offs.

Leeds have now won just two of their last six Championship matches.
