Leeds United fans have stressed the importance of Kalvin Phillips in England's current set-up after a disappointing draw with Hungary this evening.
The Three Lions had to come from behind to salvage a point in their World Cup qualifier with Hungary, maintaining their unbeaten run.
Phillips was absent from the England squad through injury and Gareth Southgate opted with a midfield trio of Declan Rice, Phil Foden and Mason Mount, but all three struggled to effect the game.
The absence of the Whites midfielder gave the Three Lions boss an opportunity to experiment with the midfield but it would prove unsuccessful on this occasion.
The Three Lions are still in pole position at the top of the group, but England's player of the year was a notable absentee this evening.
