Here is your Leeds United digest for Wednesday, December 30.
Leeds fans hit back
Leeds United fans have been quick to hit back at Marcelo Bielsa's critics following their dominant 5-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
The Whites ran riot at the Hawthornes, putting four past the Baggies before half-time.
Romaine Sawyers' calamitous own goal gave them the perfect start before strikes from Ezgjan Alioski, Jack Harrison and Rodrigo made it 4-0 at the break.
Raphinha then added a fifth after half-time to round off the big win that Whites fans loved.
Fans on social media were quick to fire back at critics of Bielsa's style, which had attracted plenty of attention after the 6-2 loss to Manchester United earlier this month.
Lineker makes Liverpool point
Match of the Day's Gary Lineker hailed the way that Leeds dismantled a West Brom defence that had frustrated Liverpool just 48 hours earlier..
The Baggies recorded a 1-1 draw at Anfield as they packed men behind the ball and limited Liverpool's chances.
Post-match, Jurgen Klopp accused Sam Allardyce of playing a 6-4-0 formation, with the West Brom boss arguing he had mastered the tactic of frustrating opponents.
It led Lineker to praise how clinical Leeds were against a defence that had been much talked about pre-match.
Bielsa hails efficiency
Marcelo Bielsa hailed the efficiency of his side's performance against West Brom.
The Whites boss said his side showed a clinical nature in front of goal that has not always been on display.
He said: "The team was very effcient. From eight chances we managed to score five goals, even if one of the goals wasn't through our own doing.
"Normally, from eight chances we score two goals max, so with such a high efficiency, the margin of the win was higher.
"And apart from that I think we defended well the whole game and we didn't commit any avoidable errors."
