It's fair to say Garry Monk's 2017 departure from Elland Road left a sour taste in the mouthes of several Leeds United fans - but all is forgiven now.
That's because Monk's Birmingham City side were able to do Leeds a huge favour on Wednesday evening when the Blues held Sheffield United to a 1-1 draw at St Andrew's.
The point for Chris Wilder's men was not enough to see them move back ahead of the Whites in the Championship table following Leeds' 2-0 win over Preston on Tuesday.

With five games to go it means that the equation for Leeds is simple - if they match or better the Blades' results between now and the end of the season, it will likely mean they are playing Premier League football next season.
