Leeds United fans hail trio as Crystal Palace victory sees them move into top half

Leeds United fans were full of praise for Raphinha, Pascal Struijk and Mateusz Klich following their 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

The Whites bounced back from defeat to Everton in emphatic style as they breezed past Crystal Palace at Elland Road.

Jack Harrison opened the scoring inside the third minute as his deflected strike flew past Vincente Guita and into the back of the net.

It was no more than Leeds deserved as they went into the break with a one-goal lead, with Raphinha in fine form as he tormented the Palace defence and so it was little surprise when he played a huge hand in United's second.

The winger one of his typical runs off the right-hand side into the centre and stung the hands of Guaita after being slipped through by Mateusz Klich, only for Patrick Bamford to gobble up the rebound to score the 100th goal of his career.

Overall, it was another dominant display from Leeds and a far cry from the performance that saw them thumped 4-1 in the reverse fixture, with Palace causing the Leeds backline few problems for the 90 minutes.

So after a dominant victory, an important clean sheet and more dazzling skills from Raphinha, Leeds fans were left pretty happy with their side's efforts.

The win leaves Leeds 10th in the Premier League table and with a level goal difference after netting two more goals and recording a clean sheet.
