Leeds United fans have voiced their excitement to get a first glimpse of Joe Gelhardt after he was named on the bench to face Crystal Palace.
The Whites are hoping to exact revenge on the Eagles at Elland Road after they were thumped 4-1 at Selhurst Park in the corresponding fixture back in November.
That result came whilst United were without a host of first-team players, with Kalvin Phillips, Raphinha and Rodrigo Moreno all absent.
Leeds' Spanish forward will be missing once again tonight after he was forced off against Leicester City last month.
"In the game against Leicester City, Rodrigo fell, his legs separated and caused an elongation more than usual and this caused the injury," Marcelo Bielsa explained in his pre-match press conference.
"I saw a picture of the position in which both his feet ended up and the distance between them was different to what we would expect. And Poveda has an injury to his ankle."
Rodrigo's injury has opened up the chance for Gelhardt, who could make his Leeds United debut from the bench.
The summer signing from Wigan Athletic has impressed in the Under-23s set up this season, scoring seven times, and is named in a matchday squad for the first time since moving to Elland Road.

Leeds have made named an unchanged XI from the team that lost to Everton last time out.
Gelahrdt has replaced Pablo Hernandez on the bench, with the Spaniard missing out through injury.
