Leeds United fans air major concern as Jack Harrison explains his absence at Newcastle United

Leeds United fans have aired their concerns about a lack of squad depth after naming a bench with an average age of 19 against Newcastle United.

The Whites have opted for Luke Ayling to partner Liam Cooper in the heart of defence, with Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk all unavailable.

Stuart Dallas slots in at right-back in Ayling's place, with Mateusz Klich recalled to the team in midfield alongside Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo Moreno.

Up front, Jack Harrison misses out altogether, with Daniel James handed a full debut alongside Patrick Bamford and Raphina in attack.

With three defenders out alongside Harrison, the bench is flooded with under-23s players which has left supporters worried about options to potentially change the game.

Harrison has confirmed he is missing the match due to a positive COVID-19 test but has reassured supporters of his health after posting on Instagram.

"So frustrated to be missing the game due to COVID but I’ll be supporting the boys from home and be back real soon." he wrote.

"Thanks for all the well wishes, I’m feeling fine good luck lads! #MOT #LUFC"
