Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suffer hilariously savage dig from Leeds United fan

Some Leeds United supporters have taken a hilariously savage pop at Manchester United’s recent struggles.

We asked you on Facebook who you’d like to see switch on the Leeds Christmas lights. And, of course, we got lots of realistic and worthy suggestions but a couple of our readers took the opportunity to have a bit of fun.

As well as the nominations for American President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Boris Johnson one of our readers suggested Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should do it.

Graham Simpson wrote: “Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should do it as he’ll be out of a job by then.”

Unsurprisingly, this got a good response from our Leeds United supporting readers who mocked Manchester United’s start to the season.

Solskjaer’s side are currently seventh in the Premier League 15 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

Leeds Christmas lights switch on is happening on Thursday, November 7.
