Leeds United fan has brilliant transfer theory as Andrea Radrizzani welcomes Bundesliga return

Fans are waiting patiently for football to return in England.

It is now more than two months since a ball was kicked in anger in any of the top four leagues in England, with another month potentially still to come.

The UK Government have given the green light, in principle, to football returning in June, but behind closed doors. That is providing there is no further spike in the coronavirus pandemic.

Football returned to our television screens at least on Saturday as the German Bundesliga action returned after its own two-month suspension.

There was a full scheduled of fixtures this weekend as German football returned, and among the many people to be watching on was Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani.

The Whites are waiting for the Championship season to return to cement their place at the top of the table and win promotion back to the Premier League.

And Radrizzani was pleased to see football back, describing the Bundesliga's return as an "important step to be back to a normal life".

Radrizzani tweeted that with a screengrab of the match he was watching - RB Leipzig vs Freiburg.

And the significance of that match was not lost on one Leeds United fan.

Leeds have been linked with a transfer move for Freiburg defender Robin Koch as we head towards the summer transfer window with a £15million move mooted.

The Whites do not know what will happen with the future of Brighton defender Ben White this summer and could be in the market for defensive reinforcements.
