Leeds stopper makes pledge

Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell will look to leave the club if he cannot regain the number one spot next season.

Speaking on international duty, the stopper, who was one year remaining on his deal, said he is yet to enter talks over a new contract and does not want to stay at Elland Road if it is only to sit on the bench.

Peacock-Farrell was his side’s number one for the first-half of last season, but lost his place to Kiko Casilla, following the Spaniard’s arrival from Real Madrid in January.

Bielsa keen on White

While Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa is said to be keen to snap up Ben White on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, White is on United’s radar as Bielsa pushes to secure a number of his targets before Leeds begin pre-season training at the end of this month.

White, who spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Newport County, finished last season on loan at Peterborough United in League One.

Meanwhile, Leeds are also keen on Wolves' Helder Costa, according to reports.

They want the £13m signing on loan next season.

Brighton keeping tabs on Brownhill

Bristol City’s Josh Brownhill is attracting the interest of Premier League side Brighton.

According to Sky Sports, the midfielder is also attracting the interest of a host of Championship clubs, after impressing for his side last season.

The 23-year-old scored five times and claimed four assists in 45 appearances last season.

Millwall have Lowe bid rejected

Millwall have had a bid for Portsmouth attacker Jamal Lowe rejected.

London News Online are reporting that the Lions made a £1.5m offer for the 24-year-old.

Aston Villa linked to Frenchman

Reports in France state that Dean Smith is monitoring  Angers midfielder Baptiste Santamaria.

A seven-figure fee is being touted for the defensive midfielder, who is valued at around 8million euros.

Villa have serious interest, according to reports.

Wigan also believed to have had an offer turned down for the forward, with the South Coast side reportedly holding out for double the figure offered. Cardiff City have also been linked with the attacker.
