Bielsa planning £21m bid

Leeds United are considering a move for ex-Middlesbrough man Cristhian Stuani, who currently plying his trade for Spanish club Girona.

Marcelo Bielsa heavily used Patrick Bamford during the campaign just gone but the Argentine is said to be 'thinking' of Stuani for next term.

That's according to El Observador, per Sport Witness, who say he is in the 'orbit' of Leeds.

Leeds interested in Eredivisie defender

The Whites are reportedly interested in signing a defender from the Dutch Eredivisie, per Sport Witness.

Leeds have highlighted two FC Utrecht right-backs as targets over the last couple of years.

The club looked at Giovanni Troupee back in 2018 for a potential loan move but nothing came to fruition.

But Leeds are claimed to be in for 25-year-old Sean Klaiber now, according to Voetbal International.

Berardi future undecided

Gaetano Berardi has undergone surgery as his future at Leeds remains undecided.

The defender will be sidelined for at least nine months due to an ACL tear and that could put his future in jeopardy.

Berardi's current contract at Leeds runs out in the coming weeks and unless he signs an extension at Elland Road, he will have played his last game for the club.

However, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani recently explained the situation for Berardi at the club.

"As you know, Gaetano has been here for six years," Radrizzani said, per reports.

"Last week he got a bad injury so we don't know what's going on in his life. He's one of us whatever decision he will take. He knows he can count on me."
