Leeds United evening headlines as new adidas away kit revealed and Rodrigo De Paul transfer hint

Here are your Leeds evening headlines for September 4.

Leeds target left out of Udinese friendly

Rodrigo De Paul was left out of the Udinese squad that played Legano in a friendly last night amid rumours of an imminent move to Leeds.

The 26-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with the Whites, who are looking to further improve their squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

Striker Rodrigo and defender Robin Koch have already been brought in, and De Paul could be the club’s next addition.

Leeds United: 2020/21 season preview

The Argentina international was absent as Udinese continued their pre-season preparations, which hinted further at a potential exit in the near future.

De Paul impressed in Serie A last season, managing seven goals and seven assists.

New away kit for 2020-21 season revealed

Leeds away strip for the new season has been unveiled by Adidas.

The green and dark blue jersey, which is yet to be officially released by the club, will be on show as the Whites travel to champions Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The shirt features the club’s new sponsor, 'SBOTOP', while gold stripes on the shoulders add to the aesthetic.

Leeds’ home strip was released last month, but fans will have to wait a little longer for an announcement on the away kit.

Leeds aim to reach deal for Feyenoord winger this weekend

Leeds hope to agree terms on a deal to sign Crysencio Summerville this weekend, according to a report from Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.

The Dutch winger recently rejected a new contract at Feyenoord and Leeds intend to secure his signing within the next few days.

Feyenoord technical director Frank Arnesen is reportedly open to offers for Summerville, who has emerged as one of the brightest talents in the Eredivisie.

The 18-year-old has also been linked with Rangers and Wolves, but Leeds now appear to be strong favourites to agree a deal this summer.

Summerville, who has been demoted from Feyenoord’s first team having turned down the contract offer, spent last season on loan at ADO Den Haag, where he scored twice and provided three assists.
