Leeds targeting Reading youngster
Leeds are preparing a bid for Reading’s Michael Olise, according to MOT Leeds News.
Olise, 18, broke into the Reading first-team during the 2018/19 season and built on that achievement with 19 league appearances for the club last season.
The report states that Olise was attracting interest from Celtic back in May, and has impressed Royals manager Mark Bowen this season.
Able to play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, the stated fee for the French youth international is between £3m - £4m.
Jack Harrison confirms he will return to Leeds United next season as he sets Premier League goal
Jack Harrison will be a Leeds player again next season.
The 23-year-old joined the club on loan from Manchester City and has become a crucial part of Marcelo Bielsa’s side that achieved promotion to the Premier League.
That form has earned him a shot in the top flight with the Whites as they move towards another loan deal. The option to make him a permanent player will be exercised in 12 months.
Speaking to ESPN after the Championship play-off final, the winger discussed his future at Elland Road.
“I still don’t think it’s quite sunken in yet,” he said.
“I don’t think it will really sink until the first game where you walk out obviously in a Premier League stadium. We don’t know the fixtures yet or anything like that, but until we start preparing for that I don’t think it will really sink in until then. As of right now, I’m just trying to enjoy the moment, enjoy the time, the celebrations with the team.
“I’ll be there again next season, so it’s exciting to go back and do it all again in a few weeks.”

Leeds United move for Gallagher - but permanent transfer off the table
Leeds United are one of several clubs attempting to secure a deal for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.
Gallagher, 20, is coming off the back of an impressive season in the Championship with first Charlton Athletic and then Swansea City.
Leeds know him well from their time in the league, and Marcelo Bielsa has identified him as a player he’d like to sign.
According to our sister title, football.london, Chelsea are keen for Gallagher to make the step up and play in the Premier League next season, but they are unwilling to sanction a permanent transfer.
