Leeds United duo Rodrigo Moreno and Liam Cooper are just one booking away from a suspension in the Premier League.
The 30-year-olds have both picked up four bookings in the league so far this season, and still have quite a way to go if they are to avoid a one match ban.
In order to escape suspension, both Cooper and Rodrigo will have to get through the next seven matches without a booking, as the cut-off point is not until after Leeds’ fixture against Aston Villa on December 28, which is the 19th match of the season.
Spain international Rodrigo has picked up bookings in two of the last three matches he has been involved in, including in the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, when he was shown a yellow card for his celebration after netting a stoppage time penalty.
Cooper, meanwhile, was shown a yellow card in three of Leeds’ opening four matches this season and then picked up his fourth in the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday, when he committed the foul that led to Eric Dier’s deflected free kick finding the path of Sergio Reguilon to net the winner.
Both have been important players for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, with Cooper having played every minute of every game, while Rodrigo has started 10 of Leeds’ 12 matches.
Elsewhere at Leeds, Raphinha and Tyler Roberts are both the next closest to picking up a ban, having both been brandished a yellow card on three occasions so far this season.
Diego Llorente, Pascal Struijk, Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton have all also received two bookings each.
