Leeds United dominate PFA Championship Team of the Year following title-winning campaign

Championship title-winners Leeds United have dominated the PFA Team of the Year in the division, with four members of Marcelo Bielsa’s side honoured.

The Whites make up the majority of the defence, with Luke Ayling, Ben White and Liam Cooper all recognised - and the trio are joined by newly-capped England international Kalvin Phillips in midfield.

Playoff winners Fulham had Joe Bryan and Aleksandar Mitrovic included while Brentford, the side they beat at Wembley, saw Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma both earn a spot in the side.

West Brom, who clinched promotion to the Premier League via their second-place finish, had Romaine Sawyers selected in midfield, while Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba earned the spot between the sticks.

The final spot in the side was taken by QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze, who clinched a move to the Premier League to join Crystal Palace ahead of the new season.
