Leeds United digest - Nketiah's hat-trick, Bogusz's winner, Stevens' message, Milner's memories

The international break is drawing to a close, with two of Leeds United's young guns ending it in style.

Eddie Nketiah bagged an England Under-21s hat-trick, while Mateusz Bogusz netted a winner for Poland's under-21s side.

Meanwhile, back at Thorp Arch, another youngster in Jordan Stevens was getting back to work following his recent suspension.

As all eyes turn to tomorrow's centenary celebrations, here is a look at the latest Leeds United news...

Nketiah's hat-trick draws praise

His comments are here in full and you can read what former Arsenal man Martin Keown had to say here.

Bogusz bags winner

The 19-year-old midfielder, a regular for Carlos Corberan’s Under-23s, has been serving a six-week ban from football-related activities for offences related to gambling.

Leeds have been supportive of the youngster, lodging an appeal against the charge, while the club’s managing director Angus Kinnear recently shared a strongly-worded statement against the decision, calling it ‘intellectually insurmountable’.

Posting an update to his Instagram page, Stevens shared a photograph of the handwritten cards he’s received from Leeds fans, captioning it with ‘Thank You’.

James Milner has given a new interview in which he reflects on his 17-year career in football, including his early days at Leeds United .

Now, in a new interview in BT Sport’s ‘What I Wore’ series , Milner has reflected on his time at Leeds, from being a ball boy when Leeds beat AC Milan in the Champions League, his first goals for the club after breaking through, and the career-low of the club’s relegation in 2004.
