Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has opened up on his team selections for the clash at Sheffield Wednesday.
Eddie Nketiah has again been left on the bench for the Championship encounter, something which has led to the natural negative reaction from Leeds fans wanting to see the 20-year-old in action.
Bielsa was interviewed by Sky Sports ahead of the game and he explained the situation in regards to Nketiah with a brief statement.
"He doesn't start the match but he is one option as he has been in the last matches," Bielsa told Sky Sports. "Of course he will be an option in the rest of the competition."
Meanwhile, pundit Keith Andrews opened up on why Nketiah should be starting.
"I'm not sure (what he needs to do). The balance of the team with Patrick Bamford is better but with Leeds having so much dominance in games, I think Nketiah now needs to start."
Nketiah has featured in nine matches this season in the Championship for Leeds but none of them have been starts. The forward has scored three goals in the league and two in the Carabao Cup, with the Arsenal loanee having started two matches in the Cup competition.
