Leeds United confirm permanent signing of Jack Harrison from Manchester City

Leeds United have completed the permanent transfer of Jack Harrison from Manchester City.

The winger has spent the past three seasons on loan at Elland Road, where he has become a key competent of Marcelo Bielsa's side, turning out 128 times for the Whites.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Elland Road which sees him commit his future to the club until the summer of 2024, as Leeds follow up an option in last season's loan deal which allowed them to sign Harrison for an undisclosed fee.

Harrison first arrived at Elland Road shortly after Marcelo Bielsa was appointed head coach in 2018 and made 37 league appearances as Leeds fell tantalisingly short of promotion in the Championship play-offs.

He would return for a second season in West Yorkshire and played in all 46 of Leeds' Championship matches as the club swept to the title and a Premier League return after 16 years away from the top flight.

This upward trajectory followed, as Harrison's third loan spell saw him score eight goals and provide eight assists in 36 Premier League appearances.

Harrison's signature comes after Stuart Dallas signed a new three-year deal at Leeds earlier on Friday and he is the second player to sign up this summer following Amari Miller's arrival on Monday.

Leeds have also seen Alfie McCalmont join Morecambe on loan today and sold Rafa Mujica to Las Palmas for an undisclosed fee.
