Leeds United Championship odds slashed as promotion hopes become even more of a reality

Leeds United took another giant stride towards achieving promotion to the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Wednesday evening.

Mateusz Klich's strike right on the stroke of half time was enough to seal a third consecutive victory for Marcelo Bielsa's side, who have also kept three successive clean sheets during this run.

Victory over Jonathan Woodgate's side kept Leeds in second place, five points ahead of Fulham in third.

With just 11 games of the season remaining, now really is the time when errors can ill-afford to creep in for those sides that are striving towards achieving promotion. Right now, the bookies are tipping current table-toppers West Bromwich Albion for promotion in May with odds of 1/25 currently being offered. Hot on the Baggies' heels, though, are Leeds, with Marcelo Bielsa's men currently being priced at 1/12 to get over the line and return to the Premier League.
