Celebrity Leeds United fan Kelly Jones has given his take on the Whites’ stuttering promotion bid.
Stereophonics frontman Jones, 44, one of The 41 famous Leeds United fans from the worlds of showbiz, sport and comedy, appeared on TalkSport to chat with Alan Brazil about the Championship promotion race and Leeds United’s recent form.
Defeats against Wigan and Brentford have derailed things in recent weeks - causing fans to get nervous.
Jones explained: “I am worried. We are kind of used to it now and it looks like it (promotion) might not happen again.
“We’ve got Villa next and my old man is a Villa fan and, last week, my brother-in-law, who is a Brentford fan was at the game, so a lot of people are rubbing it in at the minute.
“They (the players) look a bit knackered - they are training really hard.”

Despite his concerns, Jones, hasn’t given up on Leeds United returning to the Premier League.
He said: “I hope they get up. It has been a long time since they have been in the Premier League. I think the league would feel great to have them in there.”
This summer, Jones is playing a series of solo dates across the country with the intimate 12-date tour starting in Edinburgh this June.
“I’ve written about 150 songs and many don’t get to see the light of day at stadium shows. So, it is going to be a bit different with a lot of storytelling behind the songs,” explained Jones.
“It is a different kind of a show and a different kind of challenge which I’m looking forward to.”
