Leeds United captain Liam Cooper and boxing hero Josh Warrington pay heartwarming hospice visit

Leeds United captain Liam Cooper and the city’s boxing hero Josh Warrington did a lovely thing for a fan receiving treatment at Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.

The pair posted their visit on their social media accounts.

Cooper, 28, gave the fan called Martin a signed Leeds United shirt while Warrington brought his IBF World Featherweight, which he retained on Saturday night, to the centre.

You can see the heartwarming photo from the sporting stars’ visit below.

Lots of supporters praised the duo and Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice said they appreciated what Cooper and Warrington had done.

A post online read: “A big thank you to @J_Warrington and @LiamCooper__ @LUFC for visiting Wheatfields earlier. Your visit meant so much to us all.”
