Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa believes Stuart Dallas is now a 'complete player'.
Dallas has proved his versatility for both club and country in recent weeks, switching from the wing to a full-back role with consummate ease.
Leeds - who lie second in the EFL Championship - travel to The Den on Saturday to face Millwall.
Bielsa will be forced into reshuffling his squad once again with midfield pair Adam Forshaw and Jamie Shackleton ruled out along with sidelined Pablo Hernandez.
And the Leeds boss is entertaining the idea of moving Northern Ireland star Dallas into midfield, leaving the right-back position to be occupied by the returning Luke Ayling, who is yet to start a game this season.
Bielsa said during his press conference on Thursday: "It’s not usual to find a player like that. He can play on both sides, even if he’s right-footed.
"He has the agility of a winger and is powerful as a defender. Technically, he’s a complete player. He has enough aerial play to play on every level of the pitch.
"Even if he’s a player of the sides, when he has to play in the centre he doesn’t have problems."
