Leeds United announce Spanish loan deal for promising starlet

Leeds United have confirmed that 20-year-old forward Rafa Mujica has joined Spanish side Extremadura UD on a season-long loan.

The Barcelona academy product joined Leeds United earlier in the summer on a free transfer, but will be back in Spain for the upcoming season.

Mujica had featured for Leeds in pre-season, but won't feature for Carlos Corberan's Under-23s going forward.

"He will now continue his development away from Elland Road," confirmed an official statement from Leeds .

The Segunda Division club announced the deal a video on social media earlier on Friday afternoon.
