Leeds United have confirmed their new under-23s boss following Carlos Corberan's exit.
Mark Jackson will be stepping up from the under-18s, the club have announced.
Jackson played for the Whites between 1995 and 2000 before beginning his coaching career at the club when he bossed the under-15s in 2015.
He was quickly promoted to under-18s duty and has impressed in his time in the role.
Corberan left to become Huddersfield Town manager, leaving the under-23s role vacant. Jackson took charge of last week's thrashing at the hands of Accrington in the EFL Trophy.
Jackson told the club's website : “I’m delighted to be thought of for the role and it is a very privileged position to be in at this football club.
“It is a chance for me to step up, it is a great opportunity and one I am looking forward to with excitement.”
Other members of Marcelo Bielsa’s backroom staff will take charge of tonight's under-23s season opener at Stoke before Jackson officially takes up the role tomorrow.
