Leeds United and Jesse Marsch claimed to be 'spinning plates' in January transfer market

Leeds United are busy 'spinning plates' late into the January transfer window, something fans should be happy about according to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Whites have reportedly taken interest to multiple players as we head into the final two weeks of the window, including Lecce midfielder Morten Hjulmand and Angers midfielder Azzedine Ouanhi.

Nicolo Zaniolo is another name that has been floating around, but some believe that the Whites could be juggling too many deals at once to get any of them over the line.

Speaking on the JustJoeFootballShow, Jacobs admitted that the Whites might be doing multiple deals at once as they try to bolster Jesse Marsch's squad for a relegation zone escape in the second half of the season.

"So the challenge here is fee, plain and simple. Lecce are valuing him at somewhere close to 20 million and Leeds are quite late in terms of expressing an interest so they can’t be seen as a front runner here by any stretch of the imagination.

"But what we’re seeing is Leeds spinning plates late in the window and I think that fans will be relatively pleased by that because, as you say, they brought in two players already the fact that they’re still active in the market shows you that there’s a real commitment.

"We should preface that January is a seller’s market, not a buyers market."
