Leeds United are one of the clubs reportedly interested in Genk left-back Gerardo Arteaga this summer. The Whites have just one out-and-out left-back in their current first-team squad in Junior Firpo and would like to add another body to provide the Spaniard with competition.
Spanish outlet Marca reports Arteaga has drawn interest in England from Leeds, Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion this summer as well as a host of La Liga sides. They report the Mexican international, who has won 14 caps for his country, is also a target for Real Betis, Villarreal and Celta Vigo too.
At 23-years-old, Arteaga fits the right age demographic Leeds are looking for and would likely not cost a massive transfer outlay.

Leeds suffered last season by not strengthening in January, with Jesse Marsch's side managing to crawl over the line to secure Premier League survival with a threadbare squad.
Defensive recruitment, particularly at full-back has been pinpointed as a position Leeds want to improve this summer. They have already added Danish international Rasmus Kristensen from Red Bull Salzburg, who will likely slot in at right-back under Marsch.
Arteaga could be an interested name for Leeds to pursue and one for Whites fans to keep an eye out for.
