Leeds United 0-4 Man United - the key talking points and pitchside Q&A from the Optus Stadium

Leeds United's first meeting with bitter rivals Manchester United for eight years ended with a 4-0 defeat on Wednesday.

The two old foes met in Perth in the first match of Leeds' Australian tour, with a full-strength Red Devils side making their superiority count against Marcelo Bielsa's side that were missing a number of key players.

Mason Greenwood gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side an early lead at a packed Optus Stadium in Perth, before England striker Marcus Rashford doubled their advantage just before the half-hour mark.

Leeds would grow into the game and create a number of chances, but the match as a contest was effectively killed off when Phil Jones headed in a third after the break. Anthony Martial's late penalty made it four, with the rivalry flaring up in the closing stages when Ashley Young and Adam Forshaw clashed.

Following the match our reporter Beren Cross discussed the main talking points from the Optus Stadium pitch, before fielding your questions on a Facebook Live broadcast.

Watch him discuss the match and the rest of the Australia tour above.
