Leeds trampoline park closes down with plans for 160 apartments on site

A trampoline park in west Leeds has closed as the company has ceased trading.

JumpArena, in Redcote Lane, Kirkstall, has shut after a sister site in Gateshead closed.

There’s a brief update on the company’s website making customers aware of the situation.

It reads: "Highland One Ltd ceased trading on January 21, 2020."

The Facebook page for the Leeds attraction has also been deleted.

Plans have been submitted to Leeds City Council to build on the site. It would see the trampoline park demolished and around 160 apartments built with a new footbridge over River Aire also.

There would be 155 car parking spaces as part of the proposed plans.

Comments about the plans can be submitted by Friday, February 21.
