I'm back, fighting fit and refreshed after a fortnight's break!
And here's what I'll be looking at today. Two new developments in The Calls area of the city centre - including the final part in the jigsaw of Leeds's waterfront and a development next to Leeds Parish Church - have failed to completely win over city councillors. And the same councillors have highlighted
the need to include south Leeds residents in negotiations to build a major new development on the edge of the city centre.

A new iPhone application is making it even easier to find out how clean a restaurant or takeaway in Leeds is - thanks to the Scores on the Doors website. And those with an iPhone 3GS or above can now find out how many stars a food business has got – by simply pointing their phone at the premises, reports Leeds council.
A fallen hero from Morley will be honoured at his home town's new leisure centre, reports the YEP.

Beeston-based social enterprise Tiger11 has been awarded the prestigious Social Enterprise Mark, which identifies them as trading for social and environmental purposes. Tom Riordan - outgoing Chief Executive of Yorkshire Forward and newly appointed Chief Executive of Leeds City Council - presented the award at the organisation's Hillside base. Sample Theatre are getting ready for their latest innovative theatre project, which launches on Friday 23 July at the Hyde Park Picture House. Inspired by the cult cinema classic 'Carnival of Souls', a new theatre adaptation weaves physical language, vj-ing and sound improvisation to create an immersive horror experience apparently like no other.
